Project Overview
A newly constructed 5,800 sq ft modern home in Lafayette required a seamless smart lighting and shade system throughout all living spaces.
Challenges
- Coordinating with builder and interior designer mid-construction
- Integrating architectural lighting with recessed cans and linear slots
- Achieving 99% wireless control while maintaining rock-solid reliability
Solution
Deployed Lutron RadioRA 3 with a central processor, Pico remotes, and occupancy sensors in every room. All exterior and landscape lighting was brought onto the same platform.
Results
The clients now control every light and motorized shade from their phones, keypads, or voice—no wall clutter, perfect scenes, and automatic away/vacation modes.
